Afternoon timing tight? Have your child join Codecraft After Hours. After Hours takes place every day at the end of the camp from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. We have partnered with the very talented and high energy Kasey Klein to make sure these art-based projects are AMAZING!
The Game ON & Java Scripts Drips consists of learning more about drawing. The students will be given the opportunity to draw their favorite characters and get one-on-one help. Then on the third and fourth day, the students create very cool artwork. First creating a gradation scale with coffee and on the second day creating their own painting using the principles that have been learned. And on the final Friday, there will be a session for everyone to show off their work and look at others! Parents are welcome to attend the session on Friday.
The first two days of the Code Craft – ING & Get Bored the students will be created their own creatures from layers of leather and reusing different materials. Then on the third and day, the students will show off all their different creations. And then on Thursday and Friday, everyone will make their own board games, from start to finish.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the students will be working as a group to create artwork from different upcycled materials. This will be done on a 36×36 board. Like a big puzzle, the students will put things together to create something new. Then on Thursday and Friday, the students will make their very own handmade items with flour, coffee, and cookie cutters. Everyone is welcome to bring their own cookie cutters!
Monday and Tuesday will consist of creating flower-herb garden pots that show off what the seeds are. Then on Wednesday while the paint drys the students will explore all of the different plants and herbs giving time to write in their notebook about it. Then on Thursday and Friday is going to be a free paint, draw or sketch day where the students will draw what a computer looks like or how they would want one to look like.
