Winter Camps Are Here!
Web Tools and Circuit Tech Camp: Our everyday technology can present kids (and adults) with some very interesting questions. For example, how does the relationship between our televisions and remotes work? How is it possible for a watch to count our steps? This camp will seek to answer questions just like these as students explore how the combination between hardware and software can lead to fun and exciting inventions. In this course, students will be introduced into programming for a specific hardware device: The Circuit Playground.
This camp will be taking place January 3rd-4th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m at the Codecraft Lab located at 2428 Irwin St, Melbourne, FL 32901. The cost is $60 per child for two days. If your child already has a circuit playground, great! If not, students are required to have one! The cost for a Circuit Playground is $30
|3 January 2019||9:00 am – 3:00 pm|
|4 January 2019||9:00 am – 3:00 pm|
Note:This status of this camp is dependent on whether or not enough students join.
Students can advance to using Arduino IDE, which has full support of all the hardware down to the low level allowing them to make really powerful projects.
In this course, your student will:
We believe it all starts with WHY we code. We explore real-world applications and learn core practices of computer science to describe the behaviors and ways of thinking to fully engage in today’s data-rich and interconnected world.
Build the fundamental computer science and software engineering concept knowledge required to create something you love with code.
Challenge your imagination and creative problem-solving skills by applying the new practices and concepts you’ve learned. Discover ways to be innovative, amplify your ideas with code, and build a brighter future for everyone!
